Expected flood levels & latest information

08:29 Jun 27 2011 Eppley Airfield, Omaha, NE

Description
With the rising level of the Missouri River and predicted flooding that will likely occur in the general area, the Omaha Airport Authority at Eppley Airfield will provide regular updates throughout the flooding season. We are working with several local agencies for joint planning, coordination, communication and action.

Eppley Airfield is protected by an earthen Federal levee administered by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and maintained by the City of Omaha. The currently predicted peak Missouri River levels are well under the height of the levee. We are monitoring those levels and ground water elevations on a daily basis.
