<p><strong>Background</strong>: The MightyMoRiver project is a globally distributed initiative to aggregate and curate information about the Missouri River flooding currently affecting the lives of people, businesses, and government agencies located in Iowa, Kansas, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota, Wyoming and Manitoba (Canada). The key channels by which we publish information related to Missouri River flood activity are:</p>

<p><strong>Paper.li</strong>: We publish an online paper, the <a title="MightyMoRiver Gazette @ Paper.li (archive button to right underneath the editor's note)" href="http://paper.li/MightyMoRiver/1310136752" target="_blank"><strong><em>MightyMoRiver Gazette</em></strong></a>, twice daily Paper.li. This online custom newspaper, which is powered by Paper.li from @SmallRivers, is based on tweets on our Twitter timeline, along with key flood-related hashtags (#2011MoRivFlood, #minotFlood, #omahaFlood, etc.).</p>
<p>Our paper also publishes tweets related to the dams, power plants, and other key infrastructure components along the Missouri River, such as Eppley Airfield.
