Minot, ND under boil water advisory after untreated water enters water supply

6/25/2011 - MINOT N.D. -- The State of North Dakota has issued a boil order effective immediately because untreated water has entered the Minot water system, which affects Minot AFB. It is unknown if the water is contaminated. Preventive measures need to be put into place until the quality of the water is verified.

The City of Minot has issued a BOIL ORDER. North Prairie Rural Water obtains a portion of it's water from the City of Minot, Therefore NPRW is ordering a BOIL WATER ORDER for the following areas: 1.Users west of Minot and to the north of Hwy 2 including Trestle Valley. 2. All users north of Minot and users between Minot and Surrey north of Hwy 52 including Medow Brooke and Chaparell.
