The Iowa Farm Bureau estimates that between 150,000 acres - 500,000 acres of cropland will be inundated by the Missouri River floods (of ~24,000,000 acres under cultivation in Iowa).
However, these losses are still costing farmers millions of dollars, such as Les Albrecht who estimates losing $1.2M of corn.
